Director of Government Relations
Amanda joined Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan with experience in nonprofit and political fundraising, federal and state advocacy, legislative relations and campaign and field work.
Amanda grew up in central Illinois and studied Political Science and Women’s Studies at Illinois Wesleyan University, earning her Bachelor of Arts in 2001. She moved to East Lansing after graduation to work on a local campaign and met her husband while working at the Michigan House of Representatives.
Amanda, her husband and two boys, ages 4 and 6, are all involved with various sports through the year and the family loves attending Lansing Lugnuts games and experiencing all the fun things Michigan has to offer.
