Libby Drerup McGaughey
Executive Vice President of Advocacy & Community Education
A graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in Political Science, Libby started her career as a Field Organizer working in communities in west and mid-Michigan.
After moving from field to policy and spending 5 years working in the legislature, she transitioned into issue advocacy working first in the LGBT community and then as State Director of America Votes prior to moving to Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan. In her role with PPMI, she oversees both advocacy and education activities across the state.
Libby lives in Lansing with her husband and son, and loves to read, bake and enjoy all things outdoors in Michigan.
