Civic Engagement Coordinator
As PPAM's Civic Engagement Coordinator, Dipita (Dee-pee-tha) works to protect voting rights, support fair legislative maps, and promote various forms of civic engagement initiatives to community members and leaders.
Dipita grew up in the heart of Banglatown (in Detroit) where she became passionate about youth development, access to higher education, and immigrant rights. As a graduate from the University of Michigan with a BA in Gender and Health, Dipita hopes to promote sexual reproductive health education to BIPOC communities alongside promoting civic engagement.
She has worked with NextGen America, Rising Voices of Asian-American Families, and We The People-Michigan.
