Emily Bourgeois serves as the Mid-Michigan Regional Community Organizer. Located in Lansing, her goal is to make a positive impact on the state of reproductive justice in Michigan.
She recently graduated from Michigan State University with degrees in Social Relations and Policy and the History, Philosophy, and Sociology of Science. Emily has a range of experience with public health policy and environmental work in the non-profit and governmental sectors. In her personal and professional life, she hopes to advocate for positive change towards happier, healthier, and more equitable communities.
Outside of work hours, Emily can usually be found spending time with loved ones, cooking vegetarian ramen, reading science fiction, or watching sitcoms. She doesn’t like to leave her house, but when she does, it’s usually for live music, sporting events, thrift stores, ice cream, or espresso.
