Megan serves as the Vice President of Operations at PPAM, where she orchestrates seamless operations and ensures adherence to schedules for reporting, financials, and day to day business with the team. Megan supports the creating of the annual strategic plan to advance PPAM's advocacy goals while ensuring alignment with its mission. In addition, Megan ensures PPAM operates within legal and regulatory frameworks, managing systems and staying updated on changing requirements with the state and federal election law. She facilitates smooth operations for PPAM's governance structure, providing essential support to the Board of Directors and its committees.
Her tenure at PPAM has been marked by active involvement in various Boards and Affinity Groups, notably the Health Center Advisory Board for Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and the Youth Leadership Advisory Council (YLAC). Megan's contributions to these bodies have been instrumental in facilitating national youth engagement opportunities and coordinating large national trainings across the country.
Megan holds a degree in Interdisciplinary Health and Human Services and Community Health Education from Western Michigan University. Since joining Planned Parenthood in 2005, she has exhibited unwavering dedication to the organization's mission and values.
Beyond her professional commitments, Megan finds joy in bread-making, thrives on friendly fitness competitions with her PPAM team, driving a mini- van, and finds solace in slow jogs along nature trails accompanied by her faithful canine companion, Mack. Above all, Megan cherishes her role as a devoted mother to two little ones, embodying strength, and compassion in both her personal and professional endeavors.
