Chashah Johnson

Chashah Johnson serves as the Associate Director of Field Organizing. They started political work in 10th grade as extra credit and fell in love with community organizing. After graduating from the University of Michigan with a degree in Political Science in 2020, Chashah worked for Community Outreach Group – now Scale for Change – as a Regional Organizer. After that whirlwind of an election, they worked as a Patient Advocate and Assistant Manager at an independent abortion clinic before rejoining the Planned Parenthood family.

When they aren’t immersed in work, Chashah plays with their rambunctious cat or immerses themself in the textile arts. They love to collect fun socks and earrings, though their collection isn’t comprehensive enough yet to coordinate them every day.
